In press: Regulating Judges – Beyond Independence and Accountability
presents a novel approach to judicial studies, going beyond the traditional clash of judicial independence versus judicial accountability. The book invites scholars from 19 jurisdictions around the world to describe and critique diverse regulatory regimes. My contribution, focused on the Portuguese case, is titled ‘The Portuguese Judiciary Amid Old and New Crises’. The book should be in stores in December 2016.
